Something Moving

This morning Dean and I took a drive over to the eastern side of Lake Macquarie and found ourselves at Redhead beach.

As Dean stood there surveying the sun, the sand and the surf, I looked at the headland to my left and as I watched, I could just make out something moving.

Redhead HeadlandFrom my perspective, it was barely visible.  So I zoomed in a little in the hopes of being able to identify what it was that was moving on the ledge.  I could clearly make out the ledge, but I couldn’t make out what was moving.

I looked again and sure enough, whatever it was was still there on the fourth outcrop down from the top, and, it was still moving.  What could it be?

Redhead Headland - CloserIt was not unlike people moving back and forth, but I was unable to completely, or more accurately, I was completely unable to make out precisely what it was.

I zoomed in even closer hoping my next shot would reveal the origins of the movement …

… and this what it was.

    1. Dear Barrie and Evie,

Glad you had a lovey Christmas and partied into the New Year. Sorry I was not there with you, but thinking of you and wishing both of you a wonderful year.

Not hard at all to turn our back on work and ‘live the dream’. I’m sure 2015 is going to be incredible and I hope you continue to enjoy following my thoughts about our adventures and the places we find ourselves.

      Miss you heaps

      Love Clare

  2. What an extraordinary woman you are! I feel fortunate to know you and get a glimpse your thoughts and ideas . I shall have to make a pact with myself to find time to read all of your blogs because at the moment I’m just a sometimes reader.
    Enjoy!
