Big Surf

Wild Surf at Mollymook

Dean took this week’s photo and I chose it because it shows the ferocity of the surf at Mollymock following some wild weather associated with a low pressure system just off the coast.

You can clearly see the unevenness of the water on the horizon, as well as the crest of the waves being blasted by the wind, and in the bottom left hand corner, a surfer about to tackle the conditions and perhaps catch the wave of the day.

I’m please to say that my seal didn’t brave the conditions, he was more than happy to simply watch and take some photos.

Here’s another couple of photos that show how wild the surf was.

Here’s a link to Carolyn’s blog where she shared her Photo of the Week last week: Bee and Blossom

Thank you for sharing Carolyn.

Enjoy.

    1. Hey Denise,

Thank you so much for saying so. Sometimes I think “Oh my, what photo am I going to use this week?”, but it’s nice to know the effort and extra thought are well worth it.
