Finding My Grey

The second exercise in the Sandbox Writing Challenge asks:

“Do you consider yourself a balanced person?”

Because I’ve struggled (really struggled) with answering this question, I’ve decided to take a closer look at the meaning of the word ‘balanced’.  According to Dictionary.com when speaking of a person or state of mind, balanced means: having no emotion too strong or too weak; stable.

A Step Into the Sandbox

“Getting to know me.  Getting to know all about me.”  Sounds like a line from a very old song.  Oh, hang on a minute, that’s not right.  The correct words are: “Getting to know YOU!  Getting to know all about YOU!  Getting to like you.  Getting to hope you like me.”  Aka – that wonderful song from Rodgers and Hammerstein’s, The King and I.
